OLA Table / AKKA / 2011 Beautiful folding table by young Swedish designers AKKA. Love the simple and pure form, but what’s more important is the apparent ease of the table folding and unfolding. Perfect.
Impossible Prints / Workshop / 2010
Came across a nice flyer by these guys in the latter part last year. After some internet trawling I found out these are local(ish) lads who set up the studio ‘Workshop’ after graduating from Leeds College of Art. They have some lovely work and handle image and type especially well, they’re becoming a firm favourite independent studio of mine. Helps they’re a couple of northerners too!
